  I went to Explorers for dinner and because of my dietary restrictions my expectations weren't very high. However! The staff were completely accommodating and the chef was able to meet my dietary requirements. I never felt like an inconvenience and the food and service were amazing. I will definitely go back and highly recommend doing so yourself!

  I have been to Explorers Cafe a few times now and the food is always good. It is a great place to go if you want something different but tasty. The atmosphere is usually relaxing and the service is excellent. The place is interestingly decorated with artifacts from what I suspect are various places the owner has visited. However, last night the owner and a few of his friends were seated at the table next to us. They ware already there when we arrived and looked like they had been there a while drinking. They were loud and the language was not all appropriate for a fine dining establishment. It was more suited for a bar room pub. To the point where it was a disturbance to the enjoyment of my meal and time there. I went with my husband for a relaxing Saturday night meal and got stuck beside a table of half drunk people loudly talking politics. As the owner of the restaurant you may want to consider the professionalism of your behavior and save your time of excessive drinking and obnoxious conversations for your own home.

  I've been here a number of times before and always enjoyed it. This time however was different. I was planning on visiting another place that ended up being full. So I went back to the explorer and had the best gumbo I have ever had. I love gumbo and it is at the top of my go to list. It is new to the menu, at least for me and I can't wait to come back.

  Delicious food, large servings, great variety of amazing and unusual dishes. Excellent service. The decor is really interesting, friendly warm atmosphere and outdoor seating. Highly recommend this place.
